Dhruv Syam
I'm an economics and data science student at Imperial College London. Right now I'm building the world's best AI personal trainer at MAGIC AI. Most of my work focuses on applied ML and computer vision: getting models to run fast, integrating them with hardware, and improving the way people exercise.
Academically I'm interested in development economics and AI safety, having written papers in everything from food price dispersion to labour market displacement from AI.
Outside of that, I read a lot of history and true crime. I like understanding how systems fail and why people make the decisions they do.
